Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage involves a therapist giving specific “trouble areas” focused attention. In a slow, deliberate, hard pressure is applied to penetrate into the layers of muscles, tendons, or other sittues deep under your skin. Since this technique was developed to relieve specific problems in specific locations, it does not have the smooth tempo of other methods; rather, it is more manipulative. It is credited with relieving chronic back pain, back sprains, ongoing pain issues and also with chronic areas of tension, such as the shoulders.
Sports Massage

The main purpose of Sports Massage Therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. The massage will help prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to alleviate swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries. Sports massage can help prevent those nagging injuries that so often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether a person is an athlete or once a week jogger. A portion of your massage time will be dedicated to isolated, assisted and PNF stretching.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues. These tissues surround and support the muscles throughout your body.
